PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This year we intend to help our community by reducing the amount of food waste our community creates.
We want to this by focusing on two things:
We want to this by focusing on two things:
- 1) Teaching our community how to make compost using food waste
- 2) Organizing a food drive to collect food that usually goes to waste and donating it to people who need it.
PROJECT NEED
Our community often throws away food that is perfectly good and this food can be used to feed those who need it instead. Also, composting will help our environment not be so messy.
Our community needs compost because instead of having 1,00,000 landfills, we can compost the garbage to make rich soil. You can use compost to make veggies and fruit and we can give to the hungry. We are also collecting food to give to the people in need.
It is important because there's a lot of people that don't have anything to eat. This project will help us learn how to help them and teach us more about nature.
